Using Cherry Books
Cherry Books is a personal reading tracker made and run by Cherry Feed Studio. By using it you agree to these terms; if you don’t, please don’t use it.
Your content is yours
Your books, ratings, notes, quotes, journal pages, photos and character pictures belong to you. We do not claim ownership of anything you add. It lives in your browser and, when you sign in, in your account, and you can save a copy or delete it whenever you like.
- Private by default. What you add is for you. Nobody else sees it unless you choose to share it.
- You are responsible for it.You are the only one responsible for what you upload, and by adding it you confirm you have the right to use it. Please don’t upload anything that breaks copyright or someone else’s rights — for example fan art or photos you are not allowed to use.
- We don’t check it. Cherry Books does not review or endorse what you add, and is not responsible for it.
- What you let us do. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display your content only so the app can work for you, and for the people you choose to share it with. Nothing more.
- Quotes from books.Keep short quotes for your own notes. Please don’t copy out long passages or whole chapters.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something in Cherry Books uses your work without permission, write to the address under “Questions” below, say what it is and where it appears, and show that the work is yours. We remove infringing content promptly once we are told about it, and we may suspend people who infringe again and again.
Plans and paying
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your card statement shows the charge as PADDLE.NET* CHERRYFEED.
- Monthly — $4.99 a month. Yearly— $29 a year. Both renew automatically until you cancel.
- Seven days free. Monthly and Yearly start with a 7-day free trial. A card is asked for at the start; nothing is charged during the trial, and the first payment is taken when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- Lifetime— $79, paid once. It includes the app and its future updates for as long as Cherry Books runs, and 100 AI cards.
- AI cards. Painted cards and AI letters cost us money each time, so each plan includes a set number. Unused cards do not carry over into cash.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email or by writing to us. You keep paid access until the end of the period you paid for, and your books stay yours either way.
- Prices and tax. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. If a price changes, it changes only from your next renewal, and we tell you first.
- Refunds. See the refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.
Book details from others
Titles, covers, page counts and ratings found by search come from Open Library and Google Books. They are not always right, and they belong to their owners.
Please be kind to it
- Don’t use the app to break the law or to harm anyone.
- Don’t try to overload or break the search or the site.
As it is
The app is offered as-is, without guarantees. It is made with care, but things can break. If you are not signed in, your shelf is stored only in your browser and can be lost if that browser’s data is cleared, so keep a backup copy. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost data or for anything that comes from using the app.
Changes
The app and these terms may change. When the terms change, the date at the top changes too.
